Plan a workflow you can check
A free starting point for a workflow discussion. Use these questions before choosing tools or paying for a setup.
Define one task
Write down the specific job, who does it today, and what a useful result looks like. Start with one bounded task.
Describe the current process
List the steps, apps, information sources and points where someone makes a decision. Mark repetitive transfers and frequent problems.
Name the inputs and outputs
Specify the information a workflow needs and the format it should return. State what must stay private and which systems it may access.
Agree on checks
Collect representative examples. Include missing information, an unexpected format and an output that looks plausible but is wrong. Decide who checks each result.
Keep human decisions explicit
Mark actions that require review or approval. Decide what happens when a check fails, a tool is unavailable or the workflow is uncertain.
Plan a manageable handover
List who will operate it, how they will spot problems, where instructions belong and which support is included. Account for subscriptions and API costs.
