Two youths injured in a string of Manja thread attack in Gudi, Barang | Naraj, 3112 (Apr): Two youths were injured in a string of Manja thread attack in Gudi today. He is Devi Kalyan Acharya (30) of Brahmapur village under Bayalirmouja police station. He was admitted to Cuttack Bada Hospital due to heavy bleeding from his neck. The other is Somnath Muduli (20) of Cuttack Jhanjirimangala. According to the news, while Devi Kalyan was riding his cousin Ashalata Acharya on a bike, a piece of string from a gun was caught on Suta Devi's neck. As a result, she suffered a severe bleeding from her neck and waist. Ashalata also sustained minor injuries. Both were admitted to the Group Health Center in Bentkar for treatment. Ashalata was discharged after primary treatment. As Devi Kalyan's condition was critical, she was shifted to Cuttack Bada Hospital. Similarly, Somnath was going to Bhubaneswar on a bike at around 11 am today. Near Barang Bengalisahi on the Nandankanan main road, his neck and face were cut with a piece of string. He had escaped a big danger because he had suddenly left his bike. The locals rescued him and sent him to the hospital. He has filed a complaint in this regard at the Barang police station. While the student was talking on her mobile phone, the accused duo coming from behind snatched the mobile phone from her hand and slapped her. The student lodged a complaint at the Bidanasi police station in this regard. The police have investigated the incident and were able to arrest her today.
