Odisha Vigilance Arrests 212 Corrupt Officials in 2025, Seizes ₹8.81 Crore

212 government officials arrested in the year Bhubaneswar, 31/12 (Bureau): The state Vigilance Department has been recording records. The record of 2024 has been broken in 2025. This year, the Vigilance has arrested 212 corrupt government officials and employees and sent them to jail. 53 of them are Class I officers. Not only government employees, they are also sent to jail. Vigilance has sent IAS to jail, 16 policemen were arrested, Rs 8.81 crore seized in 356 days, the Vigilance has shown the dark rooms of the jail to the cooperating persons. In 2024, the Vigilance registered 200 criminal cases and arrested 181 government employees, while in 2025, it registered 202 criminal cases and arrested 212 government employees.
