Konark Sun Temple to Get World-Class Light and Sound Show

Tourists visiting Konark will soon experience the history of the Black Pagoda through a state-of-the-art laser and sound projection system. The project, funded by the Ministry of Culture with ₹15 crore, will use advanced 3D mapping technology to tell the story of Surya, the Sun God. The show will be available in Odia, Hindi, and English languages. The upgraded facility will also include improved seating arrangements, enhanced lighting pathways, and an interpretive center. Tourism officials expect this to increase visitor numbers by 40% over the next two years.
