It is not just the name that is the relationship. She lives with them and takes care of them. Sometimes she feeds someone by hand, and sometimes she pours water on someone's head. In an age where people do not recognize themselves or are unable to do their own work, she shows the way to survive by supporting mentally challenged and helpless elderly people like family members. Deepa has become a familiar face and a favorite of strangers. She lives with the helpless at the rehabilitation center and takes care of them day and night. She has built her own new family with helpless people. Deepanjali Parshti (22) lives in Anandalaya, Cuttack, Bentkar, Jajpur district. The family said that she, her mother and two younger sisters. Her father passed away in Kochi while she was studying. At a very young age, she had a heavy burden on her shoulders. She has two younger sisters. Because she has been living with more than 30 helpless people day and night and has been meeting them for the past 3 years. She started working as a new family at Anandalaya, Bentkar, by making small payments. Slowly, she immersed herself in serving the helpless people. Even she herself did not know that the orphaned girl would find a new family in 3 years. Because, along with SCB Medical, the mentally challenged helpless people in the city are being rehabilitated in this Anandalaya. Although the government is bearing the expenses, the real families of those helpless people are taking care of them. They are doing the duty of a family member. Starting from feeding them to shaving their heads, everything is done with great love. Deepa teaches a stranger to live by putting a smile on his face where he gives up hope of survival. As a result, he has become a very special person for many elderly people and the elderly. Deepa has to say about this, I have been living here for 3 years. After my father's departure, I have never felt his absence. Because I have found many fathers and mothers here. These are the ones who have become my big family. I go home once in two or three months and wander around. As soon as I leave here, some of them stop eating and drinking. So I have decided to stay with them as long as I stay here.
