Bhubaneswar UPD Achieves Top Rank in Statewide Case Management and Investigation

Bhubaneswar UPD No. 1 in Case Management Bhubaneswar, 3112 (Bureau): Starting from case closure, investigation and recovery of stolen property, Bhubaneswar UPD of Commissionerate Police is number one in the entire state. Bhubaneswar UPD was at number 20 in the Pragati Dashboard in 2024. It rose to number 16 in February last year. This year, a competition was held between Angul District Police and Bhubaneswar UPD. The selection process was done on the basis of many parameters like case closure, seizure memo, supervision, citizen portal, CCTN, arrest memo, detection, photo upload, death cases and investigation. All the information of the cases registered in 24 police stations this year was collected through an online portal. DCP Jagmohan Meena said that the investigating officers who successfully handled the cases will be rewarded after the new year.
